CCR owns a tract of land outside Santo Domingo in an area called Villa Altagracia. They want to build a Retreat Center to provide a Christian camp experience for youth in Santo Domingo, to reach them with the gospel.

We know from experience in our own community how the Lord uses those kinds of experiences to transform young people’s lives, so we have committed to partnering with CCR to raise the money to build a pavilion, bathrooms, dining room, a cabin, a water system, and a tool shed so that the retreat center can be functional.

By God’s grace, we were able to raise $20,000 to cover the cost of building the pavilion and bathrooms. We also sponsored a mission trip in May that included a small construction team to help in the early stages of construction. We are planning another missions trip for a construction team to work on the retreat center.
