Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa is a small community in the province of Bani, about an hour’s drive from Santo Domingo. Santa Rosa is a very poor community that is home to both Dominicans and Haitians. This is a very poor community. Families don’t have enough to eat, and they can’t afford school supplies or uniforms for their children to attend school.

Pastor Elbin and the people of CCR had led missions work in this community for 15 years. However, they stopped going to Santa Rosa about 2 years ago because of Covid. Now, Pastor Elbin believes the Lord is calling CCR to resume an evangelism ministry in this community.

We pray that in the months and years ahead Set in Motion will be able to connect individuals and churches in the U.S. with CCR’s ministries in Santa Rosa. We want to assist and lift up families that need food, basic provisions, and school supplies and uniforms. Mostly, we want to see the gospel continue to take root and continue to change lives. To that end, we hope to partner with CCR to plant a new church in Santa Rosa in the near future.
